SourDough2.0

The previous downtime i mentioned earler didnt happen, tomorrow the 22nd of January, my site will be down for an unspecified time, it is being moved to a new (faster!) server.

After that is done, I will be uploading my new theme for this blog.

This blog (and all my other sites) will be down sometime between now and the 8th of December, my host is changing the server my site is on sometime in that timeframe.

So if my site is down that is probably the reason.

Also, hopefully soon after the site has been moved to the new server, I will be launching Sourdough 2.0!

I have installed a testing server so now I wont have to do my testing on here, so things shouldn’t be broken anymore!

Oh! and I have disabled my Sourdough2 theme for now, once its finished it will be re-instated.

Just updated K2 to version 0.9 now 0.9.1 and it seems it doesnt like my css Ill try to fix this ASAP

Hello, I’m back!

My computer has been out of action for about a month so I havnt been able to do anything on the blog, so I will be starting the re-integration of all the plugins ASAP!

Do’h! forgot to add a title whoops :P

Finished! I am currently doing a backend update to this blog so it may be up and down for the next few hours.
Pending: After that the re-integration will begin which will take some time as well so things will be missing/broken, the blog may also be in ‘Maintenance mode’ Which means I’ve really busted something :P
Hopefully everytrhing goes smoothly!

Well i tried to do some changes to the blog, but they didnt exactly work out so i have reverted to a slightly older version of the code and the problem is now rectified, now just to redo some small changes and all will be completely back to normal.

Oops! I am trying to fix this now, hopefully it wont take too long.

Hi, I have now installed a translation plugin so lookey over there to your right and you will see the flags under the Translate heading, try ‘em out!
I have now included a shoutout box and its live*!

There are also some new commenting features, you can now chose from a list of smileys, if your nick/email/url matches any registered users details you will not be able to post until you change the conflicting value (part of the new anti-spam regime on this site, more on that below) and Your Browser and OS will be shown alongside the date.

Spam. I hate it and so should you. There has been a lot of spam on this blog in the last few days, so I have had to strengthen the outer wall of this place, as mentioned above there is new commenting criteria, new spambot blocker and if need be all comments will be moderated before being posted.

What is next for this blog? Well I will be tinkering with the template, mainly the colour scheme, but also the text sizes – they are just too small for my liking, just never got around to fixing them :/ and maybe some more addons.

*Well not quite live, there is a four second delay :P

Hello everybody, I have now fully migrated my blog over to Wordpress. There will be some minor changes (theme, plugins etc…), I am really liking Wordpress. Onward and upward!
